Public Art
When I embark on public art commissions, my goal is never to simply add my style & stroke to a space or surface, but rather to collaborate with a community.
Whether it’s a large-scale piece on a city-owned building or a massive mural on a private, high-rise hotel, my goal is always to tell a story through a thoughtful & bold visual narrative.

Painting
While much of my visual work is design driven—with finished pieces focused on communicating a clear message—my recent abstract paintings are purely works of personal expression.
Here, my process is more organic & free flowing with layers creating depth—not only on the canvas, but in the feeling & message that lies beneath.

Graphic Design
My design style is simple, yet bold, with the goal of offering more by saying less.
Beyond designing apparel, print & promotional material in-house for Coast Projects, I also collaborate with clients ranging from small businesses & local artists to large hotel groups & international touring bands.

Photography
I shoot a mix of street & documentary style photography.
Once in a while I’ll try a portrait.
My goal is to simply highlight & record the beauty surrounding me—a classic car, a child laughing, or the rawness of urban decay.

On Lock
Taken in the spring of 2020 in the midst of Key West quarantine—on the busiest section of Duval Street.
During these few months, the open streets & lack of traffic gave Kristian plenty of time & space to get his kickflip “on lock”—during lockdown.
Music
A big part of my work over the past decade has been producing & promoting some of the most storied concerts in Key West history.
My focus & energy is always directed toward making the shows more memorable than an average theater concert— with everyone from the artists to the audience walking away with a feeling that they were part of something special.

Coast Is Clear Festival
In the months following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in the Florida Keys, during the fall of 2017, I—along with a host of my musical friends—launched the first annual Coast Is Clear Festival aimed at benefitting local folks in need.
Each year since—with the exception of 2020—I’ve produced & promoted the festival on the first weekend of December as a way to signify & celebrate the official end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
